When it comes to planning a Walt Disney World trip, Caela and I always want stay at a Disney resort. Although we love to experience new things, we are particular about where want to stay. Mostly because we have a routine and like the ease of staying at a Disney resort. But back in February we booked a last minute 1 night stay at the JW Bonnet Creek since we arrived in Orlando a night early and needed a quick place to stay. We got a great deal off Hotwire and decided to go for it. And let me say, we were very impressed! The hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff was so incredibly kind, and the ambiance was overall relaxing.

Quick take-aways!

• As of Feb 21st, when we visited, the spa was currently open with a select few services NOT available. Also, no salon haircutting services were available.
• Garden Golf and the rock wall are also open! see pictures below!
• We had a drink on the outdoor patio, the margarita was so good and about $15 which would be the same for the price of one at a Disney resort or park.
• The pool is spacious. cabanas & daybeds are available for reservation. You can make a reservation on their website at https://jwbonnetcreek.ipoolside.com.
• The main pool is heated year round.
• There is an adult only pool, and that staff was doing a great job of enforcing that rule.
• The JW Market near the lobby has good coffee and breakfast choices. We got a smoothie and it was delicious.
• There is a nice long walking path that spans the distance of all the resorts in that area. Perfect for running or walking!

The JW is super close to Disney Springs which makes it just a short drive away. You can schedule a shuttle ride which is provided by the hotel or you can take an Uber. The shuttle times are listed directly on the JW website, you can find it easily by scanning the QR code on the desk in your room. or visiting https://jwbonnetcreek.ipoolside.com! 

We also heard the UnReserved Food Bazaar restaurant has a delicious breakfast, we didn’t get to try it but it is defiantly on our list to try next time! The Sear + Sea Bar Woodfire Grill (open 6pm-10pm, 5pm to 10pm on weekends) and the UnReserved Beer Garden (11am-10pm) are also other food options for lunch or dinner!
